Yes, I was hacked. Hard.
As am I, considering almost weekly I used to get my iTunes account reset from failed attempts (maybe an old app or suspicious activity?).
More likely the writer erred and reused the password.

"Weekly" resets? I've never had a rest in the years I've used the same password. I would be paranoid if I were you
